About
One trade, done properly
Denver Sub-Zero Repair Pros is an independent shop working on built-in Sub-Zero refrigeration in Denver: refrigerator and freezer columns, undercounter cabinets, ice makers and wine storage. Nothing else, on purpose.
Built-ins are not large versions of ordinary refrigerators. Two sealed systems, a defrost circuit per compartment, electronics that will tell you a temperature they are not actually holding, and a cabinet fitted into joinery that has to come apart and go back without a mark. A mile up, in air that spends most of the year in single-figure humidity, gaskets harden early and a defrost fault can run for weeks before anybody sees water. In June the cottonwood puts a felt blanket across every condenser in the city.
That is the work. It is also why the diagnosis comes before the quote here, and why there is no form on this site — you get a person on the phone or you pick your own slot on the booking page. We have been doing it in Denver since 2014.
The visit
How a call runs, start to finish
-
Tell us the model and the symptom
The rating plate is inside the fresh-food door, upper left. That number plus what the unit is actually doing usually narrows the fault before anyone leaves the shop. Call, or pick your own slot on the booking page at any hour.
-
A visit that ends in a diagnosis
Temperatures logged, controls and defrost circuit metered, sealed system read under gauges where the symptom calls for it. This is what the $89 service call pays for, and it comes off the total if the repair goes ahead.
-
A number, before anything is opened
Parts and labour, agreed with you. If the honest answer is that a sealed-system repair no longer makes sense on that cabinet, you hear that instead of a quote.
-
Repaired, then proved
The unit is run back down to spec and the readings are shown to you before anyone leaves. Cabinetry and panels go back square.
What drives the number
Flat $89 service call covering the visit and full diagnosis, credited against the repair once you approve it.
The repair itself is one firm number for parts and labour, agreed with you before any work starts — never a rate per hour and never an estimate that moves afterwards. The six bands those numbers come from are set out on every repair page.

- Laundry, dishwashers and small appliances.
- Free phone diagnosis dressed up as advice. A guess costs you more than a visit.
